Brampton Santa Claus Parade Goes Virtual due to COVID-19

Since 1994 the Brampton Santa Claus Parade has been welcoming Santa to town, on the 3rd Saturday of November, bringing joy and happiness and putting smiles on the faces of thousands of children, both young and young at heart. However, due to the current pandemic situation and in order to keep our community safe, the Brampton Santa Claus Parade Committee will be broadcasting a special virtual presentation on our Facebook page and our YouTube channel on Saturday November 21stat 5pm(same time the Parade would normally be held) in place of the live parade. The good news is that Santa assures us he will still be coming to Brampton and we will welcome him during the broadcast!

Take the time now to Like and Follow us on our social media channels so you won’t miss the Virtual Parade! Visit us at www.bramptonsantaclausparade.com and link to our social media channels.

The Brampton Santa Claus Parade has become the largest single day event in the Region of Peel and the largest nighttime parade in Canada. Our Virtual Parade will include highlights of past years and new footage of Santa as he travels through Brampton. We are putting some elves to work to make sure we don’t miss him when he comes. Santa has told us he really wants to say thank you, from a safe distance of course, to all the essential workers who have been so brave through COVID-19 and he also wants to thank many of our long time sponsors.

Santa wants all the boys and girls to know that Canada Post is helping him out with his mail. Letters to Santa can be sent to: Santa Claus, North Pole, HOH OHO.  No postage required.

The Brampton Santa Claus Parade Committee would like to thank all past Parade participants and volunteers and we hope you will join us again when we are able to hold a live parade. To our sponsors – we couldn’t have held a parade each year without you – so we thank you for your past contributions. We will be including thanks in the Virtual Parade so tune-in! If you would like to provide sponsorship for our Virtual Parade, please contact us at santa@bramptonsantaclausparade.com.

Each year the Canadian Progress Club participates in the parade, collecting food donations for local food banks. Donations will still be accepted this year. You can contact them at progressclub@rogers.com for more information.

We can’t wait for Santa to come! In the meantime, stay safe!
